Born and raised in the great state of Mississippi, I relocated to Dallas in 2000 after serving overseas in the United States Army Infantry for the better part of 4 years. In Dallas, I spent the next few years with the likes of GE and Samsung learning the in’s and out’s of the industry. At the same time, I was afforded the opportunity to continue my studies at the graduate level by earning a Master’s in HR (The University of Oklahoma), a MBA (The University of Texas), and then ultimately my PhD (The University of North Texas). All of that makes for a pretty hectic schedule during football season, but ultimately I still root for my undergraduate alma mater, Mississippi State University, the Harvard of the South!  But most important to me is the time I spend raising my twin daughters with whom God has blessed me.

And when I am not chasing them around trying to keep them out of trouble, I enjoy working with clients who are long-term, serious investors that while concerned about the future, understand that getting there is half of the fun! Most of my clients have an entrepreneurial spirit and enjoy having someone to help guide their investment decisions, affording them more time to focus on whatever is their passion in life. Because time is something more of which we could all use.
